Hive CRM - Terms of Service

Hive CRM ("we", "us", or "our") provides a customer relationship management (CRM) platform at https://hivecrm.ai. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Hive CRM's services ("Services") and form a binding agreement between Hive CRM and you or the entity you represent ("you" or "your"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

1. Access to HiveCRM

HiveCRM is a subscription-based SaaS (Software as a Service) platform. To access the Services, you must create an account and agree to abide by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Your account credentials (email, password, etc.) are personal to you and may not be shared. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of your login information.

2. Use of Services

You agree to:

  • Use HiveCRM only for lawful business purposes;
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws;
  • Avoid any unauthorized, abusive, or harmful use of the Services.

You shall not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform;
  • Circumvent any access or security restrictions;
  • Use the system for unsolicited bulk communications or spam.

3. Third-Party Services & Integrations

HiveCRM supports integrations with third-party services, including but not limited to Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive).

By connecting a third-party service to HiveCRM, you grant HiveCRM permission to access relevant data as required to deliver functionality. Use of such integrations is subject to:

  • The third-party's terms and privacy policies
  • Your authorization of access scopes

We do not share your data with these services unless required for the integration to function, and we do not use your data to develop, improve, or train AI/ML models.

4. Google API Disclosure

HiveCRM's use of information obtained via Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Communications & Notifications

By creating an account, you agree that we may contact you via email or in-app notifications for administrative, transactional, and service-related matters.

You may opt out of promotional communications via the unsubscribe link, but system messages and account-related notices are mandatory.

6. Telephony & SMS Services (if applicable)

If you use HiveCRM's telephony or SMS notification features:

  • You are responsible for compliance with all telecommunication and marketing laws (e.g., TCPA in the U.S.).
  • You understand that these services are not intended for emergency use.
  • Standard messaging and data rates may apply.

7. Subscription Plans, Usage Limits & Payments

Subscription plans may include usage limits (e.g., contact storage, API calls, file storage). You agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees based on your selected plan
  • Stay within usage limits or upgrade your plan
  • Authorize us to charge the payment method on file

Failure to comply may result in service disruption.

8. Data Retention & Termination

We retain your data for the life of your account. Upon cancellation:

  • Your access to the Services will be deactivated
  • Data will be deleted within a commercially reasonable period unless otherwise required by law

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, suspected abuse, or security threats.

9. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, content, source code, and intellectual property in HiveCRM remain the exclusive property of HiveCRM or its licensors. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any part of the Service without express written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HiveCRM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HiveCRM harmless from any claim, demand, or damage resulting from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

12. Warranties Disclaimer

HiveCRM is provided "as-is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes. The most current version will be available on our website.

14. Governing Law
